for grown-up? kids
Sometimes you will find the same things here as elsewhere on the website, but from an adult viewpoint, and with many complicated expressions. More text and less images. Some information is only here, because we find it too boring for kids. But it's not "for adults only". So if you feel like it, enjoy!
4 children + 2 parents + 1 house on wheels
with Czech-Dutch-French origins and together we decided to dare realise our dream!
DARE. Dare to leave, to move on step by step, not knowing where this journey will take us. Have confidence in the world, in ourselves.
LIVE. Let go of any final destination, whichever that is. Treasure all the moments that present themselves, the ups and downs as well.
JOURNEY. The adventure of meeting, sharing, discovering. Welcome the differences, surprises, disappointments. Marvel. Do we need to go far? Sometimes we just open our heart and listen. And be creative!
This is a real challenge in itself. To keep an open heart in a time that seems ruled by fear. To resist and stay true to our values, true to our dreams, no matter what unexpected form they take. And all of this (the trip, our testimonies, our projects, our transformation, the adults that our children will become ...) has a deep aspiration to help make life on this planet more beautiful and harmonious, to cultivate trust and openness of spirit.
Why travel? What drives us towards a nomadic life?
make our big dream come truebelieve in it and overcome obstacles, together
travel to know and to know each other
see the planet and life on it with our own eyes
live our own experiences, beyond TV or newspapers...
we are all part of the same ecosystem
...nature, animals, people, cultures...
be together, as a family
give ourselves the most precious gift of all
...our time, our attention, our love
train ourselves to listen, to be tolerant, to adapt
without forgetting ourselves
experience a life "humble and rich"
live with little: little space, a handful belongings, few resources (water and energy)
human connections are more important than things
share our discoveries
we hope to inspire others to admire and care for this world and its inhabitants

For us? Not only... our non-profit organisation "7x7 family"
We founded a non-profit organistion that regoups our activites for the planet, for humankid, and above all for children. Its mission is to carry out concrete projets to help this planet become the place we want it to be. We want to contribute, do our share. Like Ghandi said:
"Be the change you wish to see in the world"
The projects of our association are above all at the service of children. We would like to accompany them in a fun way towards a conscious and responsible citizenship, confident and powerful, while preserving their curiosity and quality of presence to life, and the awareness of the richness of our differences and particularities. We hope that our playful and concrete approach will speak to them, as it might to children who have grown up for a (more or less) long time.
We want to support and celebrate every little step of any person who crosses our path, because in each of us it is life that is expressed. And life is worth living !

And now? "Plan" or "Wait and see" ???
It is autumn 2022. Almost all our previous plans have resisted reality. Our dream hasn't changed, we still want to see the world. Four years past and our children have gained 30cm each! Our financial reserves are not what they used to be ;-). How long can we keep going? How far do we dare to project ourselves?číst celý článek
Mrs. Dream and Mr. Reality seem at odds
When we started, everything seemed clear. We were going to travel the world as a family, as others had done before us. We calculated that our finances would last about 3 years. The big kids were enthusiastic, the little ones too small to understand. But we had no idea what we were getting into.číst celý článek
